Jimmy Patton

Jimmy L. Patton, 73 of Banner, Mississippi died on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at his caregivers residence in Water
Valley, Mississippi.
Born Friday, September 20, 1940 in Banner, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Harold Patton and the late Ruby Joblin Patton.
He was a graduate of Bruce High School class 1959 and was retired from Whirlpool Appliance Corp.
He served in the National Gaurd.
He was a member of Banner Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Tracy (Theresa) Patton of Alexandria, VA, brothers, Lonnie (Nelda) Patton of Pittsboro, MS and
George (Carol) Patton of Kosciusko, MS, sister in law, Margaret Patton of Adamsville, TN and Nancy Patton of
Bruce, MS. and three grandchildren
He was predeceased by brothers, Roy Patton and Ernest Patton, sister, Sarah Rasberry.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 AM on Saturday at Banner Baptist Church with the Bro. Danny Kelly officiating and
Bro. Bobby Caples assisting. Interment will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, Banner, MS .
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Banner Baptist
Church,Banner ,MS.
Pallbearers will be: Carl Baker, Terry Joe Blount, John Bollinger, Lee McMillian, Robert Melton, Barry Patton, Jeff
Patton, Tommy Patton, and Tracey Patton.
