Jimmy H. Stewart

Jimmy H. Stewart, 80 of Bruce, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Born Monday, August 17, 1936 in Grenada, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Arvin Stewart and the late Mary Coker Stewart. He was the husband of Charlotte Baker  Stewart.
He served 36 years for the  Mississippi Department of Employment Security. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Mr. Stewart was a leader of the local Boys Scout Camp. He also loved traveling and camping.
He served 32 years in the National Guard.
Surviving are sons, Harold Dean (Helen) Stewart of Byhalia, MS and Jimmy Lynn (Donna) Stewart of Bruce, MS, daughters, Melissa Gail (Gary) Collums  of Houlka, MS and Mary Belinda Turner of Bruce, MS, brother, Billy Jack Stewart (Rita) of Bruce, MS;  grand children; Brandy Box, Brian Stewart, Brentley Stephens, Keri Anna Davis, Curt Stewart, Kali Stewart, Jordan Turner, Dalton Turner, and Mary Beth Collums,  great grand children; Levi Stewart, Cale Box, Kinley Box, and Averi Davis.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Gray, Nina Jean Morgan and Mallie Elizabeth Harris and a grandchild, Kristina Collums.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Barnett  and Bro. Eric Payne officiating. Interment will be in Memory Memorial Garden, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Marshall Box, Ronald Carter, Billy Jack Stewart, jr., Brian Stewart, Curt Stewart, and Dalton Turner.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Alexander, Don Bell, James Coleman, Wayne Coleman, Jerry Haney,Henry Lackey, Clinton Ray McKibben, Goose Morris, and Dr. Mike Young.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
