JoAnn Schantz, 79 of Eupora, Mississippi died on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo,
Mississippi.
Born Sunday, September 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robbie Gruthrie and the late Ethel Burt Gruthrie. She
was the wife of Jack Schantz.
Surviving are sons, Rickey Nix of Eupora, MS, Danny Bevill of Vardaman, MS, Willie Bevill of Eupora, MS and Carl Bevill, Jr.
of Vardaman, MS, brothers, James Gruthrie and Roy Gruthrie, sister, Waltrine Butler; 19 grand children; 21 great grand
children.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Mount
Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS.
Pallbearers will Be: Austin Bevill, Dustin Bevill, Joseph Bevill, Lonnie Wade Bevill, Astin Smith, and Michael Smith.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
Vardaman, Mississippi.
