In loving memory of John Thomas Campbell, a devoted husband, father, and skilled craftsman who passed away on April 17, 2024 a few weeks before his 90th birthday.
John Thomas shared almost 68 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Brenda Ann Campbell, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together. The devotion he showed his faith and family was unwavering.
John Thomas was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church, where he faithfully served for many, many years. He was preceded in death by his son Ricky and leaves behind his son John Campbell (Lisa), daughters Tina Heath (Gary) and Sherri Leigh Reed (Brad), 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.
John Thomas lived a life of dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ. He expressed his God given talents and gifts in many ways. He was a carpenter, a home builder, he loved woodworking and furniture creations. He left behind a wonderful legacy of beautifully crafted homes and unique treasures that will stand as a testament to his talent and hard work.
John found solace and joy in the outdoors, tending to his garden with passion and dedication every day. His love for nature reflected his gentle and nurturing spirit, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he may no longer be with us, John's memory will live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.
Visitation for John Thomas Campbell will be Thursday , April 17, 2024, from 5:00-9:00 PM at Parker Funeral Home, Bruce, MS. The funeral service honoring John Thomas's life will be Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Parker Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Armstrong and Bro. J R Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Heath, Trey Heath, Campbell Reed, David Bramlett, Reid Ray, Terry Massey, Danny Harrelson, and Randy Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Liles, Ronnie Poteete, Thomas Camp, Gerald Campbell, Larry Bramlett and Terry Watkins.
