Big Creek, MS – John Dwayne Ford, 45, passed away after a ATV accident, Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born in Cleveland on June 5, 1973. He was a graduate of Belmont High School. John served his country for over eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a employee of Olin Corporation – Winchester Division of Oxford and a former employee of Joe’s Market, and T-N-T. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. John enjoyed riding horses, 4 Wheelers and fishing. John had a very outgoing personality and always had a smile for everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Melissa Ann Brassfield Ford, grandparents Alvin Whitaker and Clayton and Twila Ford.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Haley (Kyle) Blanton, Belmont, Canzas (Michael) Williams, Bruce, Alicia Dawn Longest, Bruce, Laken (Dillon) Webb, Bruce; Son, Cody Dwayne Ford, Belmont; Mother, Peggy Ford Neese, Calhoun City; father, John Wayne (Darlene) Ford, Golden; brothers, Kenny Britt, Belmont, John Ford II, Tishomingo, Joe Whitaker, Eupora; grandmother, Dot Whitaker, Eupora and 9 grandchildren, Bentley Ford, Grayson Blanton, Haley Williams, Skylar Williams, Call Williams, Wes Williams, Kaleb Bullard, Noah Blanton and Aaron Blanton.
Visitation and funeral services will be Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. till service time at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Bro. Craig McCormick and Bro. Bill Williamson will be officiating. Burial will be in Memory Memorial Garden.
