John Jefferson Nix

John Jefferson Nix, 75, of Bruce passed from this life on December 6, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital  in Calhoun City. Born on June 9, 1945, John was a son to the late Charlie Ship Nix and Jennifer Moser Nix.

John, a retired welder, leaves behind an expansive family to carry his memory in their hearts; two sons: John Wayne Nix of Brandon, Mississippi; David Nix of Nashville, Tennessee; two daughters: Lisa Bullard of Calhoun City, Mississippi; Melinda Nix of Peoria, Illinois; one brother, George Mike Nix of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one sister, Becky Winter of Hernando, Mississippi; five grandchildren: A.J Nix, Jonathan Nix, Abigail Nix, Avery Bullard, and Brandi Gard.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Ship Nix and Jennifer Moser Nix; four brothers: Jerry Nix, Charles Nix, and Robert Nix, and Mark Nix; one sister, Jennie Mobly

The grave side service has been postponed to a later date we will inform everyone once a date has been set. The family would like to thank everyone for their understanding during this difficult time.
