Johnnie Genette Dubard

Johnnie Genette DuBard, 88 of Senatobia formerly of Carrollton, Mississippi departed this life on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Senatobia Health
and Rehab.

She was born Friday, March 22, 1929 in Pontotoc, Mississippi, Genette was a retired L.P.N., working most of her career at
Grenada County Hospital. She was devoted to her family and church. Genette was a member of Liberty Baptist Church,
Carrollton, Mississippi. She treasured her flowers and enjoyed music and especially piano.
She is preceded in death by her parents; John Almond Bray and Ora Ester Henry Bray, three brothers; Lathon Laden Bray,
William David Bray, Henry LaWayne Bray, a twin sister; Johnnie Geneva Edwards, two step sons; Sidney Silas DuBard,
Barry Mason DuBard, and her husband, Silas D. DuBard.

She is Survived by a daughter; Brenda Murphree Stepp (Garry) of Senatobia, MS, Step-Daughter; Rachel Hays (Preston) of
Carrolton, MS, Two Granddaughters; Liesl Mote (Greg) and Marla Kennedy (Cory), a sister; Sarah Jo (Robert) Baker of Bruce, MS,  Four Step-Grandsons; Keith Dubard, Bryan Dubard, David Dubard and Matt Harmon. Seven Step-Granddaughters; Myradel Sibley, Missy DuBard, Karma Simmons, Julie Turner,  Emily Hammon , Angelia Stepp and Jennifer Land.  Four Great-Grandchildren and eight Step-Great-Grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Larry Edwards officiating and Bro. Greg Bray assisting.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Bruce, MS.

Those serving as pallbearers are Keith Baker, Stefan Carter, Walt Carter, Bryan DuBard, Ronald Edwards, Clay Hanley,
Dalton Kennedy, Greg Mote, and Garry Stepp. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Baker, Donald Edwards, Cory Kennedy,
Johnny Long, and Warren Sibley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
