Joseph Carlton Cleveland, 98 of Pittsboro, Mississippi died on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at home in Pittsboro, Mississippi.
Born Wednesday, June 12, 1918 in Itawamba County Mississippi, he was the son of the late Oscar E. Cleveland and the late
Effie D. Knight Cleveland.
Mr. Joseph  was a member of Skuna Valley Baptist Church, Retired owner of The Pittsboro Service Station, he enjoyed
Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, and watching wrestling.
Surviving are his wife, Beaulah Estelle Gregory Cleveland of Pittsboro, MS. a daughter, Judy James of Pittsboro, MS.
Grandchildren, Joseph Terry Griffin of Bruce, MS., Scott Morris of Pittsboro, MS., Julie Sullivan of Bruce, MS., and Yalonda
Tharp of Vardaman, MS. Nine Great Grandchildren, and Five Great-great Grandchildren.
Also preceded by brothers, L.T. Cleveland, J.C. Cleveland, Ruby Cleveland and Aussie Cleveland, sister, Ruthie Sprayberry.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Robert Earl
Alexander and Dr. J.R. Eaton officiating. Interment will be in Pittsboro Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS.
Pallbearers will be Terry Griffin, Brandon Morris, Scott Morris, David Shuler, Joe Sullivan and Sam Tutor. Honorary
Pallbearers are, Matt Griffin and Jimmy Morris.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
