Jovanny Romeo Alvarado

Jovanny Romeo Alvarado, 1 year and 10 months, of Calhoun City was called into the comforting arms of God on April 08, 2021 at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He graced the world with his presence on May 09, 2019 as a son to Jorge Miguel Alvarado and Angelica Nicole Casados.

Jovanny, better known as “JoJo” to those who loved him, was a happy-fearless little boy that loved people. This goofy trouble making toddler not only found joy in dancing and sing along to just his favorite songs “The Wheels on The Bus” and “Baby Shark” but also many others. JoJo was excited by watching his favorite show on YouTube, Masha and The Bear ,and helping take care of his baby brother Jr. He loved his toy fox and was curious about all kinds of dinosaurs.Opposite from most children his favorite place to go was daycare;He cherished Kids First Pre-School and Childcare in Okolona .Jovanny was most known for his people loving personality and those full round cheeksThis soft hearted yet strong willed little boy will be greatly missed by his loving family.

He leaves behind a close-knit family to continue walking down the path of life; parents, Jorge Miguel and Angelica Nicole Casados of Calhoun City; two brothers: Miguel Damin Alvarado and Jorge Miguel Alvarado Jr. of Calhoun City; paternal grandfather; Rogelio Alvarado of Vardaman; paternal grandmother, Rosaura Cruz of Calhoun City; maternal grandfather, Alex Casados of Houston; maternal grandmother, Maria Casados of Houston; six uncles: Kevin Alvarado of Calhoun City; Jose Alvarado of Calhoun City; Julio Flores of Houston; Daniel Casados of Memphis, Tennessee; Rudy Flores of Beaumont, Texas; Blanca Moya; Alico Cruz; five aunts: Mari Cruz of Calhoun City; Diana Troncoso of Calhoun City; Sara Casados of Houston; Virgina Flores of Houston; Elizabeth Flores of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Alfonzo Fernandez officiating. Kevin Alvarado, Sebastian Alvarado, Daniel Casados, and Julio Flores will carry Jovanny to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.
