Joy Logan Patterson

Joy Logan Patterson age 82 died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Bruce Community Living Center. She was born in Calhoun County May 12, 1933. Her parents the late Robert Odis and Naomi Murphree Logan.
She was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church. Her professional career was a former City Clerk for the town of Bruce, Calhoun County DHS case worker and a substitute teacher. She loved playing Buncho, gardening and reading as her hobbies.
Preceded in death by her husband K.O. Patterson.
Survivors are her son Robert Dale Patterson (Wanda) of Bruce. A sister Jerry Lee Logan Brasher, Bruce, MS. A brother Robert Clark Logan (Sue), Tupelo, MS. Grandchildren: Stacy Graefe, Calhoun City, MS, Robert Allen Patterson and Ginger Carol Patterson both of Bruce, MS. Great grandchildren: Britian Nicole Graefe, Peyton Hardin, Tyler, Tristen, Paige and Chloe Patterson.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Logan and, Bro. Clark Logan officiating. Pallbearers will be Mackie Brasher, Mack Owen Brasher, III, Steven Hall, Greg Logan, Rodney Logan and Dean Patterson. Honorary pallbearers are Willie Ray Brown, Rex Jarrett, Donny Logan, Robert Edward Oakley, Benny Stewart and Ricky Vaughn. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
