Joyce Nix

Joyce Elizabeth Nix, 83 of Pittsboro, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016, surrounded by her family at
her Residence in Pittsboro, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, May 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Wall and the late Maggie Shepherd  Moore. She was
the wife of the late Bryan Nix.
She was a retired sewer from  Kellwood.
She was a member of Pittsboro First Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Rickey Nix (Joy) of Calhoun City, MS, daughters, Debra Harrison (Kenny) of Pittsboro, MS and Bonnie
King (Larry) of Bruce, MS, Special Daughters; Annie Russell of Pittsboro, MS. and Misty Shepherd of Bruce, MS. brother,
David Allen Wall of Big Creek, MS;  grand children; Emily Nix, LaDonna O'Bannon (Shane), Timmy King (Krystal), Jeffrey
King, Landon Harrison,  a Special Grand daughter, Carol Russell,  six grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was predeceased by brothers, Milton Wall, Buddy Wall, Howard Wall and Alford Wall, sisters, Jewel Denley and Abbie
Wright.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with  Bro. Richard Kelly
officiating. Interment will be in Tabernacle Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Keegan Barefield, Sam Burt, Shane Goodson, , Forrest Hamilton, Jeffrey King, Timmy King, Bubba Wall,
and Joe Wall.  Serving as honorary Hudson Hamilton and Alan Russell.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
