Kathryn Estelle Conner Spruill

Kathryn Estelle Conner Spruill, born on October 13, 1932, in Water Valley, Mississippi, passed away on February 15, 2026, in her home in Calhoun City, Mississippi. She lived a life filled with love, dedication, and commitment to her family, spending many years employed at Kellwood Garment Co. in Coffeeville, MS.

Kathryn is survived by her children: Brenda (Bill) Holcomb of Rose Bud, AR, Diane Costin of Big Creek, MS, Dolly Wolfe of Eupora, MS, Juanita Ballard (Joe) of Eupora, MS, Judy C. Robinson (Patrick) of Eupora, MS, Kay Peeples of Oakland, MS, Jim Conner of Oakland, MS, and Tom Conner of Gore Springs, MS. She also leaves behind her sister, Lorene Hillhouse of New Roads, LA; and her grandchildren, Shane, Robby, Heath, Scott, Tiffany, Stephanie, Alon, Nikki, Heather, Victoria, Tina, Drew, Jason, Coy, Lora Leigh, Brandy, Audrey, and Ezra; along with 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will take place at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi, on February 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM, Bro. Bill Holcomb will be officiating.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnnie Lois Conner and Paul Howard Spruill; daughter, Linda Conner; parents, Luss William Dickey and Mary Beatrice Shankle Dickey; sisters, Carolyn Hollis, Shirley Russell, and Sharon Wilson; brothers, Bill Dickey, Jay Dickey, Ed Dickey, and Bruce Dickey; and grandson, Rusty Hodges.
