Kathy Jean Brown

Kathy Jean Jenkins Brown, 67, of Bruce, departed from this life on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Kathy was born on April 20, 1955, in Bruce, MS to the late Bobby Gene Jenkins and Ann Tramel Jenkins.

Kathy was a nurse's aid for several years and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafting. Kathy loved her cats, dogs, and birds. She enjoyed making peanut brittle and bringing it to the Dixie Regional Library where she was a regular. Most of all Kathy loved her family and extended family and she was always ready to share stories about them. She always ended a conversation with "God Bless." She was a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church. Kathy's memory will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by two sisters: Bobbie (Claude) Klinck of Little Rock, AR; Tammy (Steve) Butts of Ward, AR; brother, Danny (Melanie) Jenkins of Quincy, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Brown; her parents, Bobby Gene Jenkins and Ann Tramel Jenkins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. A chapel service honoring Kathy's life will be on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Vincent Anderson officiating.
