Kathy Diane Dye Ferguson

Kathy Diane Dye Ferguson, 65, passed this life surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her home after an extended illness. She was born December 22, 1954 in Vardaman to the late parents of R. L. “Bozie” Dye and Ann Wages Dye.  Kathy owned and operated Kathy’s Day Care where she was the Mother of her extended children that she cared for, where she cherished every moment that she had with the children she nurtured.  She was a member of The Church of Nazarene in Calhoun City.  She graduated from Calhoun City High School Class of 1973.  Kathy had a love for shopping and buying for her family and friends sometimes just to put a smile on their face and let them know they were loved.  She was always up for a social gathering or just spending time with family and friends or connecting with love ones at a family reunion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Devan Ferguson and a infant son Chadwick McKinney.

Those left to honor her memory are her sons, Julius (Alice) Massey, Calhoun City, Josh Ferguson, Derma; brothers, Tommy  Keith ( Linda) Dye, Calhoun City, Kent (Margaret) Dye, Calhoun City;  grandchildren, Mason Massey, Anrea  Massey and Madden Ferguson.

A graveside service honoring Kathy’s life will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 12:00P.M. at Pinecrest Cemetery with Jessie Parker delivering the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Sonny Bailey, Adam Brown, Joe Kincade, Michael Joe Lee,  Brooks Lucius, Josh Monaghan, Tony Orozeo and Heath Parker. Thomas Wayne Nichols will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
