Kathy Gail Logan, 59, of Vardaman passed from this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce, MS. She was born on April 05, 1963 in Vardaman to Jimmy Ray Logan and Edria Mooneyham Logan.
Kathy spent her days helping others. She helped her mother around the house from housework to gardening. In the last few years, Kathy spent her time taking care of her mother. She enjoyed meeting her great niece Paisley every afternoon at the bus stop. She also enjoyed playing ball and different games with her. Kathy enjoyed walking to her great niece Johnna's to play. Kathy loved her family. She enjoyed when all the family would get together and she would get to see all of her other great nieces and nephews. Kathy was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Although she has gone to rest in a sacred place free from sickness and the pains of this world, Kathy will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Kathy leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: mother, Edria Mooneyham Logan of Vardaman; two sisters: Mary (Homer) Moore of Vardaman; Paula Duke of Houlka; brother, Steve Logan of Vardaman; nieces and nephews; Trent Logan, Christy Logan, Eric Logan (Kayla), Evan Logan (Chelsea), Ashley Skelton (Luke), John Moore (Cheyenne), Kristopher Duke (Calynne) and Cody Duke and a host of great nieces and nephews. A very special cousin, Connie Rogers of Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ray Logan; brother, Tony Logan; grandparents: Jim and Eunice Logan and Robert and Vinnie Mooneyham; niece, Heather Logan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 07, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, September 07, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Baptist Church with Bro. James Taylor and Bro. Sam Yarbrough officiating. Luke Andrews, Cody Duke, Kristopher Duke, Eric Logan, Homer Moore, and John Moore will carry Kathy to rest in Rocky Mount Cemetery.
