Kay Nabors

Mrs. Kay Nabors, 61, went to her heavenly home on the morning July 8, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was  Born to Farris Dale and Mattie Frances Aston Nabors on November 09,1957 . Kay accepted the gift of eternal life on November 10, 1974, and was baptized by Rev. Elbert Dodd. Kay was a ward clerk for many years at Baptist Calhoun Health Services helping many families and patients along the way. She was known by her family and friends as a crafty lady, specializing in sewing and painting.

“Katie Bug”, as she was affectionately called by her parents, leaves behind a special family to carry her memory. Her parents; Farris Dale and Mattie Frances Aston Nabors; Two Brothers, Dale (Susan) Nabors, and Duane Nabors; Two Sisters, Bonnie Ruth Harris, and Martha Frances Miller; Two Daughters, Angela (Daniel) Tinnon, and Kristy Baugus; Seven Grandchildren, Andrew Adams, Christopher Walls, Deven Baugus, Emily Baugus, Nathan Tinnon, Payton Tinnon, and Tinley Tinnon.

Kay was preceded in death her sister Donna Lynn Good.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 10, 2019 from 5:00P.M - 8:00P.M at Parker Memorial Funeral in Bruce. In addition to the visitation a funeral service remembering Kay’s life will be held on Thursday July 11, 2019 beginning 10:00 A.M at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. Bro. Jeff Harmon will be leading the funeral service with assistance from Bro.Johnny Davidson and Bro. Whitt Casey. Upon conclusion of the service Mrs. Nabors will be laid to rest in the Oldtown Cemetery; Andrew Adams, Deven Baugus, Desmond Durrough, Daniel Denton, Jerry Dale Good, Jesse Walls, Kenneth Scott, Ralph Nabors will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christopher Walls, DC Lester  Jesse Nabors, Nathan Tinnon, and Zachary Blount.
