Kayla Christine Griffin

Kayla Christine Griffin, 33, of Houlka, MS departed from this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Calhoun in Calhoun City, MS. She was born on January 27, 1989 in Tupelo, MS to Bobby Ray McDonald and Patricia Christine Blount McDonald.

Kayla was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bruce Community Living Center. In her spare time Kayla enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and swimming. Kayla had two children that she loved dearly. Although Kayla has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones.

Kayla leaves behind her husband, Corbin Griffin of Houlka, MS; parents, Bobby McDonald of Pontotoc Patricia Blount McDonald of Houlka, MS; son, Judson Ray Griffin of Houlka, MS; daughter, Coraleigh Christine Griffin of Houlka, MS; brother, Kevin Brown of Algoma, MS.

A memorial service honoring Kayla's life will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022, in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS with Bro. Joey Hamilton and Bro. Will Turner officiating.
