Kenneth Russell Roach

Kenneth Russell Roach, of Tupelo passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on June 1, 1947, in Houston, Mississippi, Kenneth spent his life in the warm embrace of family and faith.

Kenneth was a devoted member of Brush Arbor Church, where his spirit of positivity and his ability to find the good in everyone left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a love for the outdoors and delighted in sharing his joy for nature and life through his humor, often telling jokes that would light up the room. His fondness for Southern Gospel music enriched his life, bringing him peace and inspiration throughout his days.

He is survived by his cherished wife of fourty eight years, Janice Roland Roach of Tupelo; his daughter, Emily  (Leo) Rausch of Booneville, MS; his sons, Phillip Joel Roach of Booneville, MS, Billy Russell (Kristen) Roach of Alexandria, VA, and John (Halie) Roach of Blue Springs, MS; his sister, Patsy (Tony) Mauney of Ashland, MS; his brother, Glenn (Vicki) Roach of Corinth, MS; as well as his grandchildren, Serenity Faith (Dakota) Cox, Johnathan Elliott, Bentley Ray Coward, Amelia Breanna Coats, Blake Russell Roach, and Gannon Knowles, and Levi C Rausch along with his great-grandchildren, Stella Faye Moody and Sadie Kate Cox, and a host of nieces and nephews. Kenneth's family will forever remember his loving spirit and unwavering support.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing that will be held at Brush Arbor Church on December 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating Kenneth's life will take place at the same location on December 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Don Wilson, Bro. Deric Rea and Bro. Steve Chappell officiating with a two hour visitation prior to the funeral service. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Sarepta cemetery at 2:30 PM. Mark Allred, Tim Huckaby, Rickey Johnson, Billy Roach, John Roach, and  Phillip Roach will serve as Pallbearers. Dakota Cox, Jimmy Swann, Leo Rausch Jr. and Kenneth's Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father;  William Roach, mother,  Pauline Chunn Roach, a sister, Linda Ketchum, and a grandchild, Kaden Michael Farris.
