Laderle "Pee Wee" Wayne Doler

LaDerle "Pee Wee" Wayne Doler, 84, passed this earthly life Saturday, October 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora after an extended illness.  He was born in Grenada on January 12, 1940, to the late H. J. Doler and Rosa Lee Gregg Doler.

LaDerle was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church in Slate Springs.  He graduated from Calhoun City High School class of 1958 and later joined the Mississippi National Guard where he served for 10 years and served in the Berlin Crisis. Laderle was a lifelong cattleman and also row cropped to provide for his family. He loved nature, the outdoors, and the simple things of life. He loved his family and friends and valued a good conversation.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Bonnie Sue Orr Doler of Calhoun City, the love of his life whom he married August 14, 1963; two sons Boyd Wayne (Tammie) Doler of Calhoun City and Damon Lynn (Robyn) Doler of Calhoun City; four grandchildren: Will Robertson of Gore Springs, John Robertson of Calhoun City, Perry Doler of Calhoun City, and Michael Doler of Calhoun City.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. A funeral service honoring LaDerle’s life will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 2:00 P. M. in the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. Dr. Jon Doler and Bro. Ethan Nanney will be officiating.  Burial will be in Vance Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Clark, Catlin Doler, Jody Doler, Kevin Doler, Sidney Langston, and Clay West.  Honorary pallbearers are Michael Doler, Perry Doler, John Robertson, and Will Robertson.
