Lanelle Wood Couch

Grenada, Mrs. Lanelle Wood Couch, 85, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto in Southaven. She was born in Calhoun county to the late Dave and Ivy Baker Wood. She was an active member of the Grenada Pilot Club, the Gideon's Ladies Auxiliary, a Florist, former owner of Carroll-Black Flowers in Grenada. Mrs. Couch was also a devoted member of First Baptist Church - Grenada where she sang in the choir many years.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church, Grenada, MS. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at 2PM Saturday at the church. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park, in Grenada, MS.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Elmer Joe couch; three sons, Billy Joe Couch (Gloria) of Memphis, TN. Jimmy Couch (Alice) and Steve Couch (Rosemary) all of Grenada, MS. one sister, Charlene Edmondson of Shannon, one brother, Sykes Wood (Janie) of Grenada;
Nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
