Larry Thomas "Rab" Bramlitt

Larry Thomas "Rab" Bramlitt passed away November 27, 2025 at home in Merritt Island, FL surrounded by his family. He was born August 29, 1952 to Glyn Bramlitt and Dorthy Campbell Anthony in Bruce, MS.

Larry was a graduate of Bruce High School class of 1970. After high school, he joined the ROTC program at University of Mississippi. He married Gloria "Penny" Coker of Calhoun City in 1974. Together they have raised two children. He continued his career in the U.S. Air Force after graduation. Serving in many states, serving as base commander of Arnold Air Force Base, Tullahoma, TN, and on to Florida. After retiring in Merritt Island, FL as Colonel. He then worked for the NASA program at the Kennedy Space Center & the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

Larry leaves his wife, Gloria Coker Bramlitt, daughter, Melissa (Justin) Hudkins, Melbourne, FL.; son, Zach Bramlitt, Merritt Island, FL; grandsons, Hunter Hudkins and Aiden Hudkins, Melbourne, FL; and brother David (Deb) Bramlitt, Bruce, MS.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glyn Bramlitt; mother, Dorthy Campbell Anthony; and sister, Gloria Bramlitt Earl.

A visitation celebrating Larry's life will be Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM with a memorial service to be held at 2:00PM in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Friends are welcome & encouraged to share during this time.
