Laurence "Butch" Mcdonald

Laurence "Butch" McDonald passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his home in vardaman.  He was born in Kentucky to the late parents of James Russell McDonald and Pauline Elizabeth Gadsby McDonald on May 8, 1948.

Butch was a retired independent trucker and he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.He was preceded in death by his parents James Russell McDonald and Pauline Gadsby McDonald, a sister Judy Parker and brothers, Jim McDonald and Robert McDonald and a son Tony Moore..

He is survived by his wife, Mary McDonald, Vardaman, MS; daughter, Wendy Scott, Vardaman, MS, sisters; Lisa Narramore, Grenada, MS, Debbie Huezo, Perris, CA, brothers; Jack Johnson, San Fernando Valley, CA, Tom McDonald, Lexington, TN, grandchildren; Angel Scott and Austin Scott.

A memorial service will be announced at a date to be determined later.
