Lavina Maye Wade, 76 of Derma, Mississippi died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at home..
Born Monday, June 27, 1938 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Shahan and Maye
Ellen Coates Shahan. She was the widow of the late Charles Wayne Wade, also preceded in death by grandson
Scott Wade. She graduated high school in Wynne, Ark.
Surviving are son, Charles Wayne (Teresa) Wade II of Calhoun City, MS, daughters, Cynthia (Ronald) Ostrander of
Derma, MS and Kim (Mark) Gilmore of Toronto, Canada , sisters, Dora Ledean Runyon of Nebraska and Becky Kerr
of Atlanta, GA. Six Grandchildren and a host of Great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel
with the Bro. Mike Whitten officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Calhoun City, MS.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, ,
Bruce, Mississippi.
