Leon Keith Clements

Leon Keith Clements, 78, of Vardaman departed from this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Baptist Calhoun Hospital in Calhoun City, MS. He was born on June 7, 1944 to the late Lee Clements and Mary Faye Hill Clements McCombs.

Leon enjoyed yard mowing and was a former member of Atlanta Community Volunteer Fire Department. When Leon wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Although Leon has departed from our lives, his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.

Leon leaves behind three daughters: Lisa Gail Tucker of Charleston, MS; Patricia Cowsert of Germantown, TN; Sheila Hughes of Vardaman, MS; son, David Earl Clements of Calhoun City, MS; three grandchildren: Robert Earl (Anna) Hughes, Susie Tucker, and Rose Marie Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Clements and Mary Faye Hill Clements McCombs; wife, Edna Poe Clements.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman. The funeral service celebrating Leon’s life will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro.Robert Earl Alexander officiating.
