Lillian Elaine Holmes

Lillian Elaine Holmes, 79, went to her Heavenly on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home. She was born on September 9, 1940 in the Lloyd Community  to the late, Chester Jep Taylor and Vara Box Taylor.

Lillian was a 1958 graduate of Bruce High School. Lillian retired from the Internal Revenue Service after nearly two decades of service. She was a member of Sherman Baptist Church where she worshiped her Lord and Savior.

Lillian is survived by Three daughter; Annette (James Roy) Haire, Pittsboro, MS, Camille (Mark) Gober, Bruce, MS, and Sonia Coleman, Memphis, TN; Six Grandchildren; Eighteen Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Jep Taylor and Vara Box Taylor; Husband. John Holmes; Two Sons, Billy Coleman and Jimmy Coleman; One Brother, Buddy Taylor; Three Sisters, Fay Taylor, May Taylor, and Nell Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. A funeral service remembering Lillian’s life will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M  in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home ,with    Bro. Johnny Halderman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Gaston Springs Cemetery. Benji Haire, James Roy Haire, B.J. Coleman, Mark Gober, Richie Logan, and Sean Gober will serve as pallbearers.
