Lola Jane Lambert, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at the age of 95, in Senatobia, Mississippi. Born on January 17, 1931, in Bruce, Mississippi, she was a proud graduate of Bruce High School.
Lola Jane was known for her unwavering kindness, deep commitment to her family, and her strong faith as a long-time member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She had a treasured church family and a Sunday School class that brought her immense joy and fellowship. Lola Jane's devotion as a homemaker was reflected in every meal she cooked and every gathering she hosted, where the warmth of her love was always felt.
She is survived by her two sons, Rick (Malisa) Lambert of Hernando, MS , Joe (Eileen) Lambert, both of Hernando, MS, along with her cherished grandchildren: Elissa (Scott) Trapolino, Andrew (Lacey) Lambert, Matthew Lambert, and Madeline (Nathan) Vanderburg and five great-grandchildren. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband;Leon "Lee" Lambert, father, John Henry Brasher, mother, Vivian Leanna Crocker Brasher, sister, Kathryn Collins, and a brother, Max O. Brasher.
A funeral service honoring Lola Jane's life will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Bruce, MS at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Paul Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 2;00 P.M. She will be laid to rest in Bruce Cemetery with Steve Chaney, Andrew Lambert, Jo Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Josiah Prewitt, Scott Trapolino, and Nathan Vanderburg serving as pallbearers.
As we reflect on her life, Lola Jane Lambert will be remembered for her deep love for her family and friends, her joy in simple pleasures like shopping, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
