Lorene Morris , 89 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Calhoun Health Services in
Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, August 6, 1925 in Calhoun county, MS. She was the wife of the late Ellis Morris.
She was a member of Sherman Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker and former employee of Freds.
She was preceded by her husband and parents E.A. Newsom and Annie Neal Newsom a son, Jimmy W. Morris,
daughter, Brenda Person, sister, Grace Dickey and granddaughter Vikki Person.
Survivors include, Grandchildren, Melinda Turner of Bruce, MS., Ann Dye of Pittsboro, MS., Phil Person of Algoma, MS., Scott Person of Water Valley, MS. Twelve Great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Sherman Baptist Church with the Bro. James Taylor officiating.
Interment will be in Rapers Chapel Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be Kane Dye, Kyle Dye, Brandon Golden, Michael Howell, Hulet Moore, Toy Neal, Tony Person, and
J.R. Turner.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the service time on Saturday January 10, 2015 at the Sherman Baptist Church in Bruce, Mississippi.
