Louise Clark Watson, 86, of Bruce departed from this life on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City. She was born on December 29, 1935, in Brazil, Mississippi to the late Tobe Eugene Clark and Bertha Carr Clark.
Louise spent almost seven decades married to her beloved husband, Thurman Watson, before her passing. As a loyal and devoted military wife, Louise spent many years following Thurman during his military career. She provided for her family as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Wells Family Medical Clinic for nineteen years before deciding to retire and enjoy her golden years. Louise was an avid fan of Ole Miss Rebel sports and hardly missed watching a game. She was a member of the flock at Banner Baptist Church, a place that she worshiped her Lord and Savior. This loyal wife, mother, and sister will be truly missed by those who cherished her, but she has gone to rest in a place free from the pains of age and sickness.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years Thurman Watson, of Bruce; one daughter Pam (Wayne) Watson Wilson, Gosnell, AR; one son Michael "Mickey" Watson, of Bruce; two sisters: Peggie (Jackie) Tutor, of Pontotoc and Carol (Joe) Cowsert, of Bruce; four grandchildren: Amanda (Brandon) Beckett, Marc (Rebecca) Greenway, Andrew Watson, Austin Watson; five great-grandchildren: Mary Charles Beckett, Collier Beckett, Sims Beckett, Avery Greenway, and Madison Greenway.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tobe Eugene Clark and Bertha Carr Clark; three sisters: Katie Ellison, Frances Gentry, and Elizabeth Ann Clark; four brothers: Roy Clark, Troy Clark, Dwight Clark, and Terry Clark; beloved fur child, Rebel.
