Loyce Stewart Steele, Jr., 87 of Houlka, Mississippi died on Sunday, August 3, 2014, at his Daughters Residence in
Houlka, Mississippi.
Born Friday, September 17, 1926, he was the son of the late Loyce Steele and the late Annie Ferguson Steele. He
was the husband of the late Mary Hinton Steele.
He was retired from Ark-Ell Springs.
He served in the Army.
Surviving are daughters, Dianne (Jimmy) Luther of Houlka, MS and Darlene (Brad) Tinsman of Atoka, TN.
Grandchildren, Michael (Tabitha) Luther, Michelle (Joey) Moody, and Matthew (Kathy) Crossno, six Great
Grandchidren, Brett, Nikkie, Shelby, Marley, Kinley, and Katie-Ruth.
A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Junior
Ritchie officiating. Interment will be in Old Cook Cemetery, Pontotoc, MS.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2014, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home Bruce, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Albert Chrestman, Darrell Henry, Reginald Henry, Tim Holladay, Matt Huberty, and Joey
Moody.
