L. W. Morris, Jr., 82 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at his home.
Born Sunday, December 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Leslie Weston Morris, Sr. and Myrtle May Morris. He
was the husband of Faye Ingram Morris for 59 yrs. married April 27,1956.
He was a member of Old Field Methodist Church, Retired from Columbia Gulf, owner of Sawmill restaurant, farmer,
owner of Shell Bulk Plant & Service St. Served in the U.S. Army during The Korean Conflict
Surviving are his wife Faye Morris of Bruce, MS. sons,Leslie Allen "Lee" (Debbie) Morris of Bruce, MS and Jay(Laure) Morris of
San Francisco, California, sister, Jo Hole of California, Grandchildren, Ryan Flare (Eva) Morris of New Jersey, Aaron
Bryan (Mimi) Morris of Japan, Sarah Eve Morris and Emily Allene Morris of Bruce, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, William Bryan Morris, In-laws, J.B. and Irene Ingram and his
Grandparents.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Rex Wilburn
and Bro. Lannis May officiating. There will be a private graveside service in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
