Margaret Langston Winter

Margaret Winter, 85 of Vardaman, MS died on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City, MS.
She was born on September 11, 1929 in Derma, Mississippi.
she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Lee Langston and Pearl Hicks Langston. She was the wife of the late Winfred Durell Winter. Also preceded by a brother Herbert Langston and a
sister Melba Langston Winter.
She was a homemaker and ward clerk for Trace Regional Hospital for over twenty years, a charter member of New
Hope Baptist Church - Vardaman, MS.
Surviving are sons, Ravis Joe (Kathryn) Winter of Vardaman, MS, DeWayne (Jeannie) Winter of Vardaman, MS and
sisters, Opal Gordon of Atlanta Community in Woodland, MS and Wanda Shumpert of Fulton, MS. Four
Grandchildren: Jeremy Winter, Matthew Winter, Jessica Jourdan, and Tara Terrell. Eight Great Grandchildren, T.J.
Jourdan, Victoria Winter, Griffin Hutchins, Maddie Terrell, Elijah Winter, Hoeth Winter, Jonah Winter, and Hank
Winter.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Bro. Howard Green and Bro.
Michael Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Elzey Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
Pallbearers will be Danny Bailey, Mark Busby, Earl McGreger, Kenny Scott, Keith Spencer, Jason Terrell and Jeremy Winter.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 3, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, Vardaman, Mississippi.
