Margie Kathryn Arnold, 89, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Family Care Center in Kingston. She was born on January 29, 1934, in Pittsboro, Mississippi to the late John Henry Pettit and Margaret Ludie McKinney Pettit.
Margie was a member of the Abundant Grace Church for 18 years. She loved to hunt, fish, work in the garden and take care of her yard. Margie brightened the lives of many people at the Family Care Center.
She is survived by her children, Shirlon Dewitt, Whitesboro, Texas; Gayla Arnold, Kingston, Oklahoma; Tena Chill, Kingston, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Misty German, Bryan Dewitt, Jeremy Dewitt, and David Dewitt; great grandchildren: Alexis German, Angel German, James Amend, Taylor Dewitt, Jaryn Dewitt, Shelby Dewitt, Emily Dewitt, Aubrey Dewitt, Caleb Dewitt, and Dylan Dewitt; sister, Faye Snyder, Bruce, Mississippi; and a nephew, Mike Snyder, Houston, Mississippi.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Irene Bryant, and four brothers: Gene Carter, Wiley Carter, Wayne Carter and Bill Carter
A graveside service honoring Margie's life will be held on Friday April 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Pittsboro Cemetery with Bro. Keith Spratlin officiating.
