Marie Ashby

Marie Ashby, 94 died on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Shear Richardson Nursing Home in Okolona, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, March 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Ell Criddle and the late Dollie Staggs Criddle. She
was the wife of the late John Ashby.
She was a loving and devoted Homemaker.
She was a member of Vardaman United Methodist Church.
Surviving are grand-son, John Paul Hyde of Vardaman, MS, grand-daughter, Debra Armstrong of Houston, MS,
great grand sons, John Steven Hyde, and Sam Asby Hyde.
She was predeceased by grand-son, Sam Hyde, Jr., daughter, Dorothy Mae Dogan, brothers, Floyd Criddle, Noel
Criddle, Troy Criddle, T.A. Criddle, Sim Criddle and Priest Criddle, sisters, Lecie Houser, Ruby Hodnett, Mary
Dotson, Bobbie Joe Criddle, Annie Phelps and Syble Scarbrough.
A Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Elzey Cemetery with the Bro. Robert Earl Alexander
officiating. Interment will be in Elzey, VARDAMAN, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Parker Memorial
Funeral Home Chapel, , Vardaman, Mississippi.
