Martha Nell Tindall

Martha Nell Tindall, 84, of Calhoun City, MS departed from this life on Friday, November 12, 2023, at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce, MS. She was born on February 15, 1939, in Vardaman to the late James Marvin Vanlandingham and Betty Winters Vanlandingham.

Martha Nell wore many hats. She was a hard worker. She worked for Kellwood Company, Blounts Dry Cleaners, and Calhoun Health Services in the dietary department. When she wasn't working Martha could be found working in her garden and in her flowers. She was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church.

She leaves behind one son, John Tindall of Brandon, MS; two brothers: Billy (Erma) Vanlandingham of Gonzales, LA; Jimmy (Della) Vanlandingham of Mathiston.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, James Marvin Vanlandingham and Betty Winters Vanlandingham.; husband, Johnny Tindall; one son, Andy Tindall; sister, Jean Peden Davis; four brothers: Ottis Vanlandingham, Oren Vanlandingham, Odie B. Vanlandingham, and Bobby Vanlandingham.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The graveside service honoring Martha's life will take place on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in Pinecrest Memorial Garden with Bro.Marlon Long officiating. Robert Doolittle, Chester Ray Dye, R.M. England, Frankie Lofton, Lee Peden, and Robert Sharp will serve as pallbearers.
