Mary Louise Bailey

Bruce, MS-Mary Louise Bailey, 91, passed this earthly life on Sunday, April, 29, 2018,  at Yalobusha County Nursing Home after a extended illness.  She was born, June 11, 1926,  in Vardaman to the late parents of Aubrey L. Lewis and Elma Faulkner Lewis.  Louise was a faithful member of Bruce First Baptist Church, she especially enjoyed her Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, David Bailey, whom she had been married to for 70 years till his death in 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Danny Lewis Bailey (Melanie), Oakland, MS; daughter, Vicki Bailey Austin (L.C.), Randolph, MS; 4 grandchildren, Anissa Wilkinson (Chris), Miranda Allen (Scott), Valerie Goodwin (Tony), Amanda Lynch (Robbie), and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to service time at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Bro. Darrell Logan and Kay Fortenberry will be officiating and delivering the eulogy.  Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Allen, Trent Butler, Caleb Goodwin, Tony Goodwin, Robbie Lynch, Chris Wilkinson and Jake Wilkinson.
