Mary Mildred Broughman

Calhoun City, MS- Mary Mildred Broughman, 82, passed this life at Eupora,  after an extended illness. She was born February 9, 1936, in Derma to the late parents of Matthew “Mack” Rimmer and Lila Mae Johnson Rimmer.  She was a homemaker and an assistant with farming operations.  She loved her family dearly and always enjoyed time with family and friends.  She was a Church of Christ follower in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James William “Buddy” Broughman, sisters, Margaret Rae, Burt Goodwin, brothers, Tommy Rimmer, Billy Rimmer, Curtis Rimmer, Charles Rimmer, John Rimmer, grandson, Jonathan Browman and a great grandson, Michael Ray Broughman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Darline Jaco (Junior), Spriinghill, TN, Lorri Browning (Ricky), Slate Springs, Penny Dunn (Elvis), Bruce, Kathylene Broughman (Jackie), Tuscon, AZ; sons, James Broughman (Teresa), Coffeeville, Curtis Broughman (Belinda), Cherokee, AL, Roy Broughman, Bruce; sisters, Doris Weeks, Calhoun City, Francis James, Calhoun City; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Hill officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. till service time Monday.  Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Darline Jaco, Lorri Browning, Kathylene Broughman, Penny Dunn, Teresa Broughman and Belinda Broughman.  Honorary pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
