Mary Lou Golden

Mary Lou Golden, 74, of Randolph departed from this life on Wednesday, February 01, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born on March 30, 1948, in Blytheville, AR to the William "Chester'' Harston and Roberta Montgomery Colburn.

Mary spent many seasons of life as a furniture factory supervisor working for Washington later working for Astro Lounger until her retirement. If it was fun Mary loved doing it. In her spare time she could be found riding on her side by side. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. She was known as "Mamoo" to many, to know her was to love her.

She leaves behind her husband, Randy Lee Golden of Randolph, MS; daughter, Amanda McVay of Pontotoc, MS; three sons: William Harley (Christi) Galloway of Hayes, VA; Don (Maggie) Galloway of Pontotoc, MS; Joseph Galloway of Pontotoc, MS; brother, David Lee Colburn of Pontotoc, MS; stepson, Brandon Lee (Kristi) Golden of Bruce, MS; stepdaughter, Kayla Marie (Michael) Howell of Bruce, MS; 15 grandchilden; 9 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of adopted children and grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, William "Chester'' Harston and Roberta Montgomery Colburn; brother, William John "Snookie" Colburn.

The family will recieve friends on Thursday, February 02, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at County Line Baptist Church. The funeral service celebrating Mary's life will take place on Friday February 03, 2023 at 11:00 AM at County Line Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Finley officiating. Chandler Crump, Devin Galloway, Waylon Galloway, Wyatt Galloway, Jaden McVay, and Jay Garrett McVay will carry Mary to rest in Jernigan Cemetery. John Max McVay will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
