Mary Nell Scarbrough, 87 of Calhoun City, Mississippi died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at her residence in Calhoun
City, Mississippi.
Born Sunday, December 2, 1928 in Bentley, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Captain Gaston, Sr. and Ethel
Connor Gaston. She was the wife of the late Jimmy Edwin Scarbrough.
Formerly employed by Seminole Mfg. Houston, Glenn Slacks of Bruce and Calhoun County School Bus Driver for 37 years.
She was a member of Baileyville Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Ramona and husband Charles Howe of Calhoun City, MS. Two grandchildren, Kevin Howe, and
Kristi Gore husband Duste, Two great-grandchildren, Kobe Poynor and Katy Gore. Special cousin Sarah Margaret and
husband Tommy Hallum, Special Niece Susanne and husband Barney Wade
She was predeceased by daughter, Jimmie Nell Inmon & son-n-law Jimmy Ray Inmon, brother, C.G. Gaston, Jr. .
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Baileyville Baptist Church with the Bro. Carl Morris and Jimmy Cole officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Calhoun City, MS.
Pallbearers will be Billy Mac Gore, Jimmy Howell, Charlie Jackson, Josh Monogahan, Billy Russell, Larry Smith, Ronnie
Smith, and Barney Wade. Honorary pallbearers are, Jerry Baker, and Monroe Galloway.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Baileyville Baptist Church,
Mississippi.
