Mr. Max Lee Holder, Jr., 85 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical
Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Born Saturday, December 20, 1930 in Vardaman, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Everet Holder and the late Rosie
Collums Holder . He was the husband of Mary Holder.
He was a retired sweet potatoe farmer.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Doug Holder and Wife Vickey of Vardaman, MS, daughter, Lisa Williams and husband Ronnie of
Vardaman, MS, brothers, Cecil Holder of Derma, MS, Hubert Holder of Vardaman, MS and Gerald Holder of Houlka, MS,
sisters, Frances Chrestman of Houston, MS, Inez Schwalenburg of Houston, MS and Glenda Caulder of Calhoun City, MS. Grand
Children: Dale Williams and wife Jackie, Brandy Holder, Brittany Austin and husband Jon, James Tharp and wife Londa,
Roy Tharp and wife Natalie, Brittney Tharpe and, Will Allen, Great Grand Children: Bryson Holder, Rylan Austin, Destiny
Tharp, Preston Tharp, Brooke Tharp, Makon Edwards, Marleigh Tharp, and William Allen.
He was predeceased by brothers, James Holder and Lester Holder.
A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander
officiating and Bro. J.R. Eaton assisting. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Alexander, Jessie Chrestman, Dean Holder, Johnny Holder, Mike Holder, and Jerry Martin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Holder, and Terry Holder.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - Until on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, ,
Vardaman, Mississippi.
