Michael Earl Melton

Michael Melton,59, passed away on August 11, 2021, in Southaven, MS.

Michael was born on December 8, 1961, in Memphis, TN, to Jimmy Melton and Mary Melton.
Michael started his career as a Tool & Die Maker and went on to work for Magnolia State Die in Senatobia for several years.

Michael was best known for his love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, running his rabbit dogs, and looking for arrowheads.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory are his wife Lisa Kim Melton of Southaven, brother Jimmie Lee (Melanie) Melton of Vardaman, son Michael Manuel Melton of Southaven.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Melton and Mary Baker Melton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The service honoring Michael's life will begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Bro. Michael Whitten officiating. Michael will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Woodland, MS. Darren Kelly, Jerry Moore, Michael Robertson, Michael Robertson Jr., Joshua Melton, David Holloway, and Terry Dauzat will serve as pallbearers.
