Michelle Sharp Barlow- Poynor

Oxford, MS – Michelle Sharp Barlow – Poynor, 54, passed this earthly life on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her home. She was born October 13, 1963 in Bruce, MS. Michelle loved spending time with her grandchildren teaching them how to cook and make Christmas candy. She enjoyed playing video games with family and staying connected with her friends and family on facebook. She was a member of New El Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents the late Jimmy Williams Gregory and Jonnie Sharp Gregory, a daughter, Marcie Nell Barlow, daughter, Teresa McKenzie, a sister, Lura McDonald, and a brother, Butch Gregory.

Survivors are her husband, Brice Poynor, Oxford, MS; five daughters, Kayla Gladys Winters “Kenny” , Ashley LeAnn Metts “Brandon”,   Linda Lee Wait “Randy”, Nora Lynn Webb “Paul” and Jackie Michelle Conrad “Chad” all of Oxford, MS; a step daughter, Christina Graham “Jordan”, Pontotoc, MS; two step sons, Brad Poynor “Jackie”, Tupelo, MS and Kobe Poynor, Calhoun City, MS; three sisters, Jeanie Harwell, Nancy Petros and Tina Foster all of Oxford, MS; Ten grandchildren; Andy Peters, Adam McKenzie, Amanda Perkins, Alexis Barlow, Linley Metts, Austin Nichols, JR Conrad, William Nichols, Mia Wood, Holley Winters and four step grandchildren, Briaunna Beneman, Ava Catherine Poynor, Caden Graham and Jaden Graham. Two great grandchildren, Emerson Perkins and Joe Peters.

Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Tula Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Camp, Jason Foster, Roe Gregory, Eric James, Al McDonald, Johnny McDonald, Eugene Nichols, Josh Rogge. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl McDonald, Randy McDonald and Brandon Metts.
