Mildred Idella Hardin, 92 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo,
Mississippi.
Born Thursday, April 3, 1924 in Vardaman, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late David Gillsepie and the late Lucy
James Gillispie. She was the wife of the late James Robert Hardin.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother to the family. During her life she worked as a L.P.N. nurse at Trace regional
formally Houson Hospital for over 40 years with Dr. Dyer and Dr. Secrest.
She was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, James K. Hardin and wife Darlene of Vardaman, MS and David Hardin and wife Beth of Southaven, MS,
daughter, Sherry White of Vardaman, MS; 7 grand children; 13 great grand children.
She was predeceased by brother, Lather Gillispie, sisters, Juanita Hesson, Jean Poynor, Ruthell Sanderson and Elsie Ruth.
A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Benny Hill and Bro. Robert Earl
Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Vardaman, MS. The body will lie in state one hour prior to
service time Sunday.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, in
Vardaman, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Trae Bailey, Dalton Huffman, Dylan Huffman, Bryant King, Jay King, Mason Reifers, Bradley White, and
Martin White.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Saul Frazier, Silas Hardin, Preston Reifers, Brady White, Keeper White
