Mildred Patsy Johnson, 89, passed this earthly life on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Mountain Meadows Health and Rehab in Batesville, Arkansas.
She was born to the late parents George Martin Johnson and Louella Bryant Johnson on July 17, 1931, in Pittsboro, Mississippi.
Patsy was a devoted caregiver to her late parents and was an excellent cook. Her door was always open to family and friends. She very much enjoyed entertaining and hosting gatherings. Often amazing her guest with her cooking skills. She was a kindhearted person that never was one to express anger or ill will. She graduated from Pittsboro High School Class of 1950. She retired from Kellwood Company after some 26 years of service to the garment industry. Patsy was a devoted member of Calhoun City First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Louella Johnson, sister Marie Rogers Kidd, and brother James Harold Johnson.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are: special nephew Ellis Rogers and his wife Karen of Batesville, Arkansas, and numerous loved ones and friends
The funeral service honoring Patsy’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Gullett officiating. Burial will be in Pittsboro Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be: John Bryant, Kitt Bryant, III, Terry Fales, Jimmy Maxwell and Chris Long.
