Morris Parker, 80 of Calhoun City, Mississippi died on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Calhoun County Nursing
Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Sunday, October 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Curtis Parker and the late Effie Lester Parker.
He was a member of Taylor Church of God of Prophecy and, a retired farm supply salesman
Surviving are sons, Michael Wayne Parker of Plantersville, MS and Alan Wells Parker of Tupelo, MS, brothers,
James Parker of Hernando, MS and Jerry Parker of Vardaman, MS, sisters, Debbie Wiggs of Calhoun City, MS,
Peggy Jennings of Greenwood, MS and Vera Nell Smith of Plano, TX. grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Parker, and
Ana Michelle Parker. Great Grandchild Rachel Humphrey.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Keel.
A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Sherman
Adams officiating. Interment will be in Memory Memorial Garden, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, Bruce, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Jennings, John Jennings, Mark Jennings Paul Jennings, Stephen Jennings, Bradford Parker, Jon Parker, and Stephen Smith.
