Murray Glen Ward

Grenada, MS. – Murray Glen Ward, 66, passed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS. He was born March 5, 1952 in Grenada. He was a retired Truck Driver. Murray enjoyed riding horses and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father. Travis “Dude” Ward, mother Muriel Goodson Ward, and a brother, Mike Ward.

Those left to honor his memory are a daughter, Misty Ward Beck, Holcomb, brothers, Jimmy Ward “Denise” of Banner and Perry Ward of Tunica, a sister, LaRisa Campbell “Barry” of Grenada, grandchildren,  Erin and Parker Beck.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, Bruce. His funeral service will be Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Bruce with Bro. James McElroy officiating. Interment will be in Ward Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Barry Campbell, Dennis Carver, Jeff Clark, J.R. Hollis, Mike Hoop, Kent Hyde, Jason Jackson, and Bobby Poynor.
