Myriam Memorie Alley

Pittsboro, MS – Myriam Alley, 97, passed away December 17, 2017 at the Veterans Home in Oxford, MS after a lengthy illness. She was born February 16, 1920 in Tacoms, Washington to the late parents of Joseph Guilford Wescott and Rebekah Torgersen Wescott; Memorie was also preceded in death by her husband Bro. Ira Alley. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist church. Memorie served her country in The U.S. Army during WWII.

She is survived by two daughters, Dottie Poling of Haines, AL and Judy Powers of Juno, AL. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dwight Brown officiating. Burial will be in Old Town Cemetery with Military Honors.
