Nancy Ann Chrestman Smith

Nancy Ann Chrestman Smith,76, of Southaven, MS, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 26, 2021, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Nancy was born on August 24, 1945, in Bruce, MS, to the late Elmo and Vaudie Murphree Chrestman.

Nancy worked for over 50 years as a Beautician. She also enjoyed selling Home Interior and was an excellent Wedding Planner. Nancy was a member of Carriage Hill Baptist Church in Southaven. She loved Jesus and her family, especially her grandchildren and great grands. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years Bill Smith of Southaven, MS; three daughters: Brenda (Kenneth) Skillern of Marion, AR; Kelly (Dan) Chaffin of Southaven, MS; and Kim Smith of Southaven, MS; five grandchildren; Kenny (Cat) Schenzel, Whitney Martinez, Kerry Skillern, Danielle (Andy) Kirk, and Clayton Chaffin; great grandchildren: Mia, Bailey, Jordyn, Tanner, and John Mikal; sister Nina Jane White, of Bruce, MS; brothers Charles Chrestman of Bruce, MS; and Gale (Angie) Chrestman of Maben, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Vaudie Chrestman; sisters: Mary Evelyn Chrestman and Mauveline Chrestman Bond; brother-in-laws Carol Wayne Bond and Billy Joe White; sister-in-law Wanda Easley Chrestman; and nephews Philip Bond and Jimmy Bond

Visitation for Nancy will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM until service time at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. The service will begin at 12:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Chrestman and Bro. Kerry Bond officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clayton Chaffin, Benjamin Jeffreys, Andy Kirk, Kenny Schenzel, Jason White, and Ricky Joe White will serve as pallbearers.
