Nancy Carroll Morgan, 79, entered heaven on November 14, 2019 at Generations Assisted Living in Saltillo, Mississippi. Nancy was born to the Ellard Community on February 29, 1940, and married her husband of 59 years, Raymond Wayne Morgan.
Nancy was a precious lady who spent her life enjoying the things that made her just so special. She was a stay at home wife and mother. Nancy was a lover of music, which sparked her interest in singing and what it offered her. She was also an extraordinary gardener, in which she took time to enjoy the outside world, and its beauty. Nancy also found interest in sewing during her life. Nancy will be especially remembered for her love of children and all the joy they brought to her life. She enjoyed babysitting and preparing the grandchildren chocolate milkshakes upon request. Nancy did not simply pass away, for she moved into a place called heaven, which was prepared specifically for her by the Lord.
Nancy leaves behind her husband, Raymond Wayne Morgan of Banner, Mississippi. One daughter, Amecha Morgan Franks (Anthony) of Cabot, Arkansas. Three sons, Anthony Wayne Morgan (Elizabeth) of Brandon, Mississippi. Raymond Steve Morgan (Donna) of Pontotoc, Mississippi. Richard Wade Morgan (Melissa) of Bruce, Mississippi. One sister, Annette Giompoletti of Pontotoc, Mississippi. Nine grandchildren, Katelyn Mullins, Elijah Morgan, Kaleb Morgan, Morgan Kriley, Eliot Morgan, John Walker Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Destin Franks, and Hayze Franks. Four great grandchildren, Kayden, Preston, Adaleigh, and Oliver.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, James Coy Hill and Trudie (Simpson) Hill; brother James Hill.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 12:00-2:00pm at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. A funeral service remembering Nancy’s life will take place Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:00pm Parker Memorial Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Morgan, Rev. Frankie Martin, and Bro. Sam Yarbrough officiating. Destin Franks, Jordan Kriley, Thomas Morgan, John Walker Morgan, Rev. Kaleb Morgan, Colby Mullins, Elijah Morgan, Eliot Morgan serving as pallbearers.
