Nellie Sue Mcdonald

Nellie Sue McDonald Norvell, 84, entered the gates of Heaven on December 24, 2019 from Legend Oaks West Nursing Home in Houston, TX. She was born in Houston, MS on October 19, 1935, Sue was the daughter of the late Leslie (Cricket) and Essie McDonald.

Sue leaves behind a loving circle of friends and family to carry her precious memory; two children, Curtis Lee Norvell and Lee Ann Norvell; three grandchildren, Travis Goode, Destanee Norvell, and Curtis Norvell Jr.; three great grandchildren Greg Stuck, Scarlett Stuck, and Lily Stuck.; Nieces and Nephews, Betty and Larry Logan, Jane and David Yewell, and Pat and Johnny Odom.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; Leslie and Essie McDonald; brothers Charles McDonald, Robert McDonald, Morris McDonald; Sisters Lorraine McDonald; Kathleen Stacy, and Beatrice Cleveland; Nephews Dale McDonald and Bobby Stacy; Niece in-law, Gail McDonald; Brother in-laws, Henry Stacy and Rube Cleveland; Sister in-law, Faye McDonald; Niece Ruby Kay Sanders. Friends; Tommie and Cathy Webb.

Sue was a kind and generous person who always had a smile on her face. She loved to share her wisdom and offer kind and uplifting words. She loved to laugh and talk on the phone. She adored plants, animals, and most of all her family. She will be dearly missed, but she will never be forgotten.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi.
