Pamela Elaine McCammon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed this life on December 27, 2025, at the age of 74 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Southhaven, MS. Born on November 9, 1951, in Bruce, Mississippi, Pamela lived a life full of joy, love, and cherished moments, particularly in the comforting embrace of her family.
Pamela is survived by her devoted husband, Billy McCammon, and their loving children, Kim Pettit of Pittsboro, MS, Joey (Brandy) McCammon of Pontotoc, MS, and Jamie (Amanda) McCammon of Bruce, MS. Her legacy continues through her ten cherished grandchildren and seven adored great-grandchildren, who have all been touched by her unwavering love and support.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father; Gordie Lee Haire, mother, Willie Clark Haire, and a brother; Gordie Lee Haire, jr.
Throughout her life, Pamela was known for her warm spirit and dedication to her family. A passionate supporter of Ole Miss Football and the Kansas City Chiefs, she passionately cheered for her teams, sharing many joyful moments with her loved ones. As a devoted homemaker, she created a nurturing environment that fostered love and togetherness, making her home a place of comfort and celebration.
A funeral service that will be held in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, Mississippi, on December 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM with Bro. Sam Yarbrough and Bro. James Taylor officiating. A public viewing will take place at the same location beginning at 11:00 AM that day. Following the service, Pamela will be laid to rest in Rocky Mount Cemetery, offering a final farewell to a remarkable woman whose spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Gabe Hall, Jacob McCammon, Tracy McCammon, Brad Pettit, Braden Pettit, and Zane Ragon will be serving as pallbeaerers.
As we gather to celebrate Pamela's life, we remember her gracious heart, her boundless love, and her enduring commitment to family, which will be her everlasting legacy.
